The CIRT developed Oil Filter Test Rigs are to test lubricating oil filters by either using SOFTC-2A test dust or AC fine test dust and evaluate the filtering efficiency of filter elements to find out the differential pressure drop at different flow rates. The test setup is based on the SAE standard to find out the existing life of the filter element single or double life. An imported USA make "MILLIPORE APPARATUS" is added to the laboratory recently to evaluate the results with sophistication and without error.
