The Spectrolab - Direct Reading Spectrometer manufactured by M/s Spectro - Germany, carries out simultaneous analysis of Aluminium, Copper, Iron metals and their alloys. In addition to accuracy, speed and reliability, as well as high precision from trace quantities upto the higher concentration ranges, it is distinguished in particular by its flexibility. A number of special technical features make it superior to other Spectrometers of conventional design. The use of quartz light guides and gasified UV systems in particular, present distinct advantages for analysis operations.

The Spectrometer is equipped with an extensive programme package, which can  meet all requirements with respect to analysis and sample racking. Its operation is simple. Routine operation is by means of function labelled keys and parameter setting is carried out by modern 'Pull Down' menus. Error - free analysis is assured using the automatic detection facility for defective samples (SEREPS, SATEUS, and SETEME) automatic programme selection and mean value calculations with precision control, as well as cycle self-checking of the system by means of control samples. The required measurement system monitoring in accordance with nationally and internationally valid standards is a built-in feature of the Spectrometer software.
