Infrastructure

The campus of CIRT is located on a spacious stretch of greenery housing testing laboratories, classrooms, library, gymnasium, tennis and badminton courts, guest houses, hostels for participants and residential accommodation to the faculty, scientists and supporting staff. The Institute's library has over 10000 titles, 100 professional journals and several educational films and video cassettes covering all aspects of transportation and management.

CIRT has a well-equipped computer centre for imparting training and to process data on transport performance. In addition, the computer centre helps in monitoring process parameters of test samples as well as designing new test rigs and revamping the old ones.

It must be said that a positive and friendly atmosphere has been created and maintained on CIRT campus to give participants and visitors an opportunity to share their experiences and to engage in relaxed introspection.
