The National Accreditation Board on behalf of the Department of Road Transport & Highways, invites applications for the empanelment of Technical Assessors/Lead Technical Assessors for Accreditation of Bus Body Builders under the Central Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Accreditation of Bus Body Builder is an activity to certify the capabilities as per the laid down norms.

The minimum qualification for Technical Assessor shall be a Degree/Diploma in Engineering with five/ten years of experience respectively. Knowledge of the Type Approval and the Conformity of Production (COP) procedures prescribed under the CMVR, 1989 is preferable.

The Lead Technical Assessor in addition, shall have a background in quality management systems as per ISO/QMS/(NABL) or any other National or International Certification or Accreditation system.

Terms and Conditions

 

 

The important terms and conditions to work as an empanelled Lead Technical Assessor/Technical Assessor are enumerated below.

1.                  The empanelled Lead Technical Assessors / Technical Assessors will be imparted training on free-of-cost basis in the CIRT, Pune premises.

2.                  Please note that, this is not a permanent employment nor assignment. As and when work of assessment arises, assessment work will be entrusted to the prospective assessor on honorarium basis.

3.                  The empanelled Lead Technical Assessors / Technical Assessors will continue as employees of their present parent organization

4.                  The empanelled Assessors will be paid suitable honorarium for the Assessment activity.

5.                  The empanelled Assessors will be allotted the activity in their respective zone. However, in some cases, they may have to travel anywhere in India for the purpose of Assessment.

6.                  The empanelled Assessors will be required to follow proper guidelines,  code of conduct and ethics while performing the assessment.

7.                   The empanelled Assessors will be required to follow any terms and conditions that would be stipulated from time to time for the smooth functioning of the accreditation.
